So...this week is a jumble of two different lists: getting ready for family vacation next week, and finishing prep to start school when we get back. My head was spinning today as I moved back and forth from one list to the other, never quite crossing an item off before dashing to the next. There's laundry, and binders, and suitcases, and answer keys, and first aid stuff, and markers, and CDs, and index cards--wait, were the CDs for the trip and the index cards for school, or is it the other way around....or both? Oh well, how about we just call vacation a FIELD TRIP and I'll mesh the two lists!

I guess the one way you can tell a road trip from school is the amount of fussing. Oh, wait...the kids fuss in the car AND they fuss at their school work. Never mind. Bad idea. But we ARE looking foward to a road trip to VA to visit w/ the rest of the clan.
Don't worry, there's no fussing in Virginia.
Well maybe we'd better cancel our trip then--we won't feel at home there at all! :-)
